BLUF: Due to conflicting personal priorities I’ve had to suspect Project Helios (UAF flash cards) and Project Io (UAF based course). I plan to restart the projects in Q1 2027.

I firmly believe that bringing architecture frameworks, as laid out by the UAF, into enterprise operations has great value, not least to enable integration of modular systems into the greater architectural picture. In my mind there are exciting case studies of applying the UAF to counter UAS to protect civilian infrastructure. However I find with my commitments to my young family, to my day job, to my volunteering at the INCOSE-WFEO Working Group as secretary, to my general fitness and to the objective of attaining permanent residence in the great province of Quebec (which makes French language competence a qualifying criteria) that I had little time to give the attention needed to see Project Helios and Project Io to completion.

So it’s with heavy heart that I am suspending both projects until Q1 of 2027.
