Refund and Exchange Policy

Overview

Life happens and you find out you don’t have the time available that you thought you would have to dedicate to the services Fitzgerald Systems provide. That’s ok and we want to give you the flexibility, and confidence, that works for you. Essentially we provide this flexibility in two forms.

For live training (e.g. Study Groups) or non-live services that are on pre-sale, we provide a full refund, less transaction fees that we had to pay to 3rd party service providers when we initially received your payment, if you make the decision to not proceed with the service up to 6 calendar before the service starts. That’s a credit applied to your credit card in most cases.

The other form is a full exchange. For live training (e.g. Study Groups) or services that are on pre-sale, if you make the decision to not continue with the service anytime between 5 calendar days before the service starts up to the same day of the 2nd session then you can choose to request an exchange in which case we’ll provide you a coupon code that you can use to purchase any other Fitzgerald Systems service.

For available and non-live training (e.g. SysML training) services, if you make the decision to not continue with the service anytime up to the 2 calendar days after the date of purchase date then you can choose to request an exchange in which we’ll provide you a coupon code that you can use to purchase any other Fitzgerald Systems service.

If there is a discrepancy between this section the policy and the remaining sections the remaining sections of the policy will hold.

Refunds

For live training (e.g. Study Groups) or non-live services that are on pre-sale, you may request a refund of the purchase price of the service, less any applicable third-party processing fees, from the date of purchase up to six (6) calendar days before the first scheduled session of the service, inclusive.

To process your refund request, we require proof of purchase, such as a receipt or confirmation email.

Refund requests will be reviewed within five (5) business days. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method, and confirmation of the refund will be sent to your email. Upon issuance of the refund, access to the service will be revoked.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund within five (5) business days of receiving proof of refund confirmation:

  1. Verify your bank account or credit card statement.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take additional time for the refund to post.
  3. Reach out to your bank, as there may be a delay in processing.

Exchanges

For live training (e.g. Study Groups) or non-live services that are on pre-sale, you may request an exchange for the purchase price of the service from five (5) calendar days before the first session of the service up until midnight (Eastern Time) following the second session of the service.

For available and non-live training (e.g. SysML training) services, you may request an exchange for the purchase price of the service up until midnight (Eastern Time) of two (2) calendars after the date of purchase of the service.

Exchange requests will be reviewed within five (5) business days. If your exchange request is approved, a coupon code equal to the value of your original purchase will be issued. This coupon is non-transferable, does not expire, and must be used by the original purchaser. The coupon can be applied to any Fitzgerald Systems service. However, if the coupon is used for a service priced lower than the coupon’s value, the remaining balance will be forfeited, and the coupon will not retain any residual value after use.
