Three terminal - Drain (D) Gate (G) Source (S).
Normally-Closed MOSFET are Depletion Type. Normally-Opened MOSFET are Enhancement Type.
If Gate voltage is higher than a threshold then the connection between Drain and Source is closed/opened.
